AMD Dual-Core Optimizer

I used it on XP and made a good improvement compared to without. Only problem was it disabled Cool n' Quiet for me(i think, could have been microsoft dual-core fix).

Anyway, since its Vista and built for multi-core platforms, i am assuming there is no need for this fix anymore. Am i right?

Everybody I know who has Vista and an AMD dual core haven't complained about performance. Also you know you can enable/disable cool & quiet in the bios also right?

I am not complaining about vista performance, in fact bf2 seems to run better on vista than it did for me on xp, but i would like to squeeze out as much performance as possible! Also, even with c n' q enabled in the bios, it would never work.

cool n' quiet won't turn off for me. I can see the multiplier changing ever second in Everest and it is making me mad. I have disabled it in the bios but it still persists to run!
