Option to turn off History Thing

When I go to google or other sites and try to type in something, it gives a list of the past searches I've done already. Where do I go to turn it off?

In IE, go to Tools - Internet Options - Content.

Thanks. Just out of curiousity, if I uninstall IE, would the autocomplete feature be unavailible to turn on.

I'm guessing you mean if you go to FireFox?

You configure each browser separately. The History changes work "inside" of each.

I recomend CCleaner, it's very usefull tool for cleaning all temp files in your computer including your browse history, autocomplete, prefetch files . . .
