Do you play warez games?

Used to play them all the time when I lived in Hong Kong. They were about US$2 for a new game, and were often available ahead of the official release date.
Now I have to pay full price unless I can get a copy from someone
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy
Play or own warez games? In some countries they sell warez games for a buck on the street corner that look like the real thing. You wouldn't really be able to tell the difference.
Most good games I buy. iffy games i either get the demo or try through warez...getting pirated software online is a big hassle though, and I don't live near Hong Kong.

???? There's something other than a warez game? Actually for games that I respect, I buy em- that means Half-Life (I got the adrenaline pack, and still keep the box on my shelf) and Deus Ex.

I'm having problems connecting to any server using EDonkey..... I'm using Bellsouth DSL service. I've had no problems connecting to clients like BearShare or LimeWire before.
*Nevermind........got a new server list

Yeah, update the server list regularely. Also, keep your uploads to 10 since that seems to be the cutoff point before they penalize you and then experiment with the amount of servers. You should be able to keep it way above the standard number of I think 75. Try 150 or 200.
I no longer do, well, I don't know what warez to you is considered. To me it's a modified version of a game. If that is not what you meant, but more like ISO, then to me I'd ask if people download game ISOs.
However I no longer do, as I said, get illegal stuff. I've resolved to change my policy, I would pay and get back what I deserve for my money. I feel better as well when I do that. However if it involves something as insanely priced as Photoshop or some 3d animation programs which I will use next year in College, I think a download is in demand. That's just about the only thing I will go DL, aside from MP3s (still hoping a Pay for Song program by the music industry will appear)

DON'T REGISTER! All you do is find what you want and the link will start a download in E-donkey.
So basically, download e-donkey, update the server list, and then just search for stuff. Sharereactor has good quality, reliable stuff so sometimes it's easier to just go there and see if they have it.
I played only cracked games. And for the last 7 or so years I played 1000+ (I guess). But soemtimes I wish I would have bought them legaly. Alot of good game developers vanished becouse of the piracy. For example, just recently I found out that SSI (Panzer General series and many more) shut down. And this is sad (at least for me).
this means, that we even did not receive a
RESET signal; maybe due to a 'stealth' firewall
that was the result of their port test. this is garbage. plus all of the server lists i get are loaded with german servers. i guess i shouldn't be complaining.

I'm not sure if that was because of piracy. If it's the SSI I'm thinking of, they were bought out by Wizards of the Coast. I remember SSI being more tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons. Wizards is the company that puts out Vampire the Masquerade and stuff like that. It may be that Wizards decided to axe the software end after absorbing SSI.
Since I'm not a gamer, I'd say warez is the way to go. For the rare moment I'm in the mood, it's not worth spending the cash.
