ARRRGHH! I just upgraded my system with a new Asus M2A-VM mobo, AMD X2 3600+ Brisbane (1.9ghz), and 2Gb OCZ Titanium. I SHOULD be able to get a decent overclock out of it, but I'm obviously doing something wrong cuz I can't get jack out of it. I haven't done this in a while which leads me to believe I'm overlooking something. Anyone have a similar setup and would like to tell me their BIOS settings? I've tried adjusting voltages, setting the LDT (HT bus) down to as low as 600 to try and create more FSB room for the CPU. Nothing really sticks. The most I can get out of it is about 220 ish, I don't know if thats stable. I have a Fortron 450W PS so I'm pretty sure thats' not the problem.

The other issue is this system does NOT like my 6600 256Mb. When I try to install it, the system reboots itself right as its going into windows. So for now I have to stick with the onboard ATI X1250 video (which ain't half bad really). But I also am thinking of picking up a 8600GT when I get my bonus here in about 2 weeks.....

I would GREATLY appreciate any help you can provide! Thank you!

IMO I would get at least a 550W PSU for OC'ing and possibly a little more if going with a 8600. Also check your cooling/temps.

Thanks for the reply. I have considered going with a more robust power supply if I get a 8600, but right now, I don't have hardly anything in my system and I'm using the onboard video. My temps are great, about 34-35c idle. This is a relatively new mobo, maybe a future BIOS will help a little more. It seems to run fine @ 225FSB though...but I'm still open to suggestions.

Hmm.. The OCZ ram should OC quite well. Try increasing the RAM voltage up a little.

Well I put it up to 1.9v. Should I pump it higher, what would you recommend as the highest safe setting?
