I haven't had this problem... but I have had some issues when coming out of sleep mode. Specifically my mouse won't work... even after unplugging and whatnot.

My solution: don't use sleep mode. LOL.

I know you're not asking me, but I'm using the same driver you are. However, I have a 8800 GTX.

You'll be happy to know that I found a solution to your problem... sort of:

This is a known problem for ASUS boards with the NVidia chipset. I have no idea if other manufacturers have the same issue with NVidia. Check the ASUS forums for fixes and workarounds - apparently it is different from m/b to m/b.

Aero works perfectly for me. I'm using a 8800 GTX w/ an Asus motherboard (nvidia chipset).

Have you tried uninstalling the nForce driver to see if it makes a difference? It was successful for several people on the ASUS forums.

Nah this was happerning even right after a clean instalation with no video drivers.

im betting that the video card has trouble with the way vista preforms sleep mode

yes i dose
but it allways dose the same thing everytime i aply Anti Aliasing on any game.
it will play a game fine long as i dont use AA

wait a while for all the bugs to be worked out or download some 3rd party drivers AT YOUR OWN RISK
