More about graphics problem sleep mode
  1. I haven't had this problem... but I have had some issues when coming out of sleep mode. Specifically my mouse won't work... even after unplugging and whatnot.

My solution: don't use sleep mode. LOL.
  2. i have the same problem but with the 32bit version
  3. Do you have any thoughts on what it could be?

im starting to think its the video driver
    what graphics card you running?
  4. I know you're not asking me, but I'm using the same driver you are. However, I have a 8800 GTX.

You'll be happy to know that I found a solution to your problem... sort of:

are you haveing this problem too? because i was thinking of getting a 8800GTS anyway?
  6. This is a known problem for ASUS boards with the NVidia chipset. I have no idea if other manufacturers have the same issue with NVidia. Check the ASUS forums for fixes and workarounds - apparently it is different from m/b to m/b.
  7. Aero works perfectly for me. I'm using a 8800 GTX w/ an Asus motherboard (nvidia chipset).
  8. Still haveing problem

its defently got something to do with anti-aliasing for sure
soon as i aplly AA to any game it will scramble the screen?

so whys it doing it after sleep mode?
  9. Have you tried uninstalling the nForce driver to see if it makes a difference? It was successful for several people on the ASUS forums.
  10. Nah this was happerning even right after a clean instalation with no video drivers.
  11. im betting that the video card has trouble with the way vista preforms sleep mode
  12. yes i dose
but it allways dose the same thing everytime i aply Anti Aliasing on any game.
it will play a game fine long as i dont use AA
  13. wait a while for all the bugs to be worked out or download some 3rd party drivers AT YOUR OWN RISK
