How can I do a clean install over XP? Will Vista give me the option to format over XP? My XP Pro gets the BSOD sometimes so I don't want to keep whatevers causing it. Yet before you ask, I'm virus and spyware free and my XP has all the updates.

You can do a clean install but you will need to format the drive where XP is installed. I always have a separate partition for the OS so the reinstalls are easier.

I suggest booting from the cd and formatting the drive when Vista asks where do you want to do the install.
