WINDOWS 98SE STALLS AT C PROMPT STATING WIN.COM MISSING

Hi wonder if anyone out there can help me, how do i fix the above problem without doing a fresh install.... as i have stacks of mp3 files, etc and do not wish to lose them

Do you have a windows 98 boot floppy? If so, stick it in and see if it can't fix your boot issue.

Always a good idea to make one every 6-12 months! just in case of a sony rootkit or two.
