PDA's with large screens ?

I've seen on tv people with larger PDA type touch screens maybe 8 or 10 inch
screens, what are these ?

Tablets are far from large PDAs. They are full fledged Windows PCs, running
Windows XP with a superset of enhancements to create the tablet
functionality, mostly centered around alternative input, pen, voice
recognition.

Do check out the links provided to get some exposure to the genre.

Several possibilities, including:

Tablet PC (running Windows XP for Tablet PC). See earlier responses.
But I _think_ they have 12" screens.

A tablet-style computer running Windows CE (the base for Windows
Mobile). Some companies still make industrial devices in this form

Several companies made HPC Pros (running Windows CE for Handheld PC
Professional 3) a few years ago; I _think_ NEC is still making some.

If it doesn't really have a touch screen, it could be one of many
