I did a system (Hard Drive) backup of my laptop using Nero 6 as well as saving my data on my external drive. My luck prevail. My external hard drive crashed and now when I try to restore my backup, it won't work. I've tried restoring using Nero restore, but it keeps looking for a file with an extension .nbi and it's nowhere to be found. I've tried booting up with the backup disk in, it gets to 13% and errors out. I can't remember what the error said other than it was looking for something that wasn't there. Does anyone Know of a way to recover the data from the DAT files on the backup?
