I have a MIG file on my backup drive with no OS installed that I created before installing Vista and now cannot find out how to restore this file to my Vista hard drive. Do I need to install Vista on the backup drive? If so, how do I do that without messing up my current install? Do I go into the BIOS and just change the boot order, or should I open my case and change the SATA ports for my hard disks?

Please help!

Thanks!

Eddie

Is it an IMG file? If it is, booting from the DVD by hitting F8 allows you the repair-restore from backup option.
