GA-N680SLI-DQ6 supply problems

I am wondering... why nobody is talking about Gigabyte and their obvious choice to under-produce this 680i based board to drive up the value. Everywhere I look this board is on backorder... When I do find it, its always some jerk of a vendor that wants in upwards of $450 for a product worth $300, by the specs. Gigabyte is more than capable of producing this board in plentiful supply, yet NOBODY can get ahold of them. New Egg dropped it over these issues, so have many other parts shops.

This is clearly an attempt to extort money from enthusiasts, and Im choosing a different board, as a result. I've been a Gigabyte fan for a long, long time, but I refuse to support a company that plays these games.

yeah gagibyte is awsome great board for great price, but if you can make the best of something retailers and supplier are bound to charge more.
