I have a DSL wireless router, 2Wire 2700HG-D, and I’m wondering if I can use this router to connect to a second broadband network, a wireless system, WAZ, that’s been set up in our town. I notice the router has settings for Public and Bridge networks. Anyone have any idea? The 2Wire help told me it’s do-able but they have not tested it and don’t support it.

This KiteNetwork or WAZ broadband doesn’t require a router. I can connect throughout town using any wireless G device. But I’d like to have it routed securely at home. It looks like the Public bridge would work, if I got a router IP from WAZ though it does not support NAT.

Thanks!
