When I try to go to yahoo mail I get the
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

Which i don't get... because the adress is different now.... its

http://www.yahoo.com/r/m2

vs mail.yahoo/login or w/e

Any idea what might be causing this?

I tried disabling firewall even reinstalling IE still same issue

what are your ie settings and which version of ie? have you checked your hosts file? do you have any apps that block certain sites or ip addys?

IE7, host file??, I triesd disabling firewall and that didn't help also it doesn't seem like any pop-ups are being blocked. IT seems this all started after I downloaded a new chipset for my MB.

not sure about the hardware change I wonder if that did anything to your local ip or port or something.

your hosts file is a file that well here hosts file

if any of the addys are in there then they will get blocked

or it can be the security settings of ie7, have you tried to test the sites with the security settings on low?

are you getting the same thing with firefox or opera?
