hi there im new here
i've just got my laptop with MCE and i now have a free upgrade to vista premium. i've signed up for the upgrade, the comapny is now asking to see my receipt. i did not get a receipt, only got an invoice via e-mail. can i print that out and then jot my order confirmation number down on the invoice? or can i forward my invoice on to the company along with my order confirmation number.

is that understandable?

that should work. did you get a packing slip with the laptop? if so, send a copy of that too.

what is the packing slip?

so if i forward by invoice along with my order confirmation on to that email i should get the upgrade? i've sent the email to the company asking the same question has on here. hopefully i'll have a reply tomorrow.

packing slip is a piece of paper that outlines what was shipped to you. it's typically floating free in the box OR it's affixed to the exterior of the shipping box in a plastic pouch.
