Which mainboard to chose?

1 * ASUS Striker Extreme nForce® 680i SLI, 2xPCI, 2xPCIe x1, 3xPCIe x16, 4xDDR2, Sound, Dual Gbit LAN, S-ATA II RAID, eSATA, FW, Display 299,90 €
(it's possible to build 6 HD's in raid 5 + I like to have as much as sata ports. + 2 x PCIe 16x & 1 x PCIe 8x)
or
1 * ASUS P5WDG2 WS Pro Intel® 975X, 2xPCI, 2x PCI-X, 2xPCIe x16, 4x DDR2, Sound, Dual Gbit LAN, S-ATA II RAID, FW 233,90 €
(Whats up with the 975 & nforce. I read about it and I still can't decide.
I am not going to use SLI. HD speed needs to be good.
In single card mode PCIe_1 16x & PCIe_2 8x (instead of 16x))

2 x PCIe 16x (working also 16x in single mode)
1 x PCIe 8x

Going to put in a Areca ARC-1220LP (8x SATA300 RAID PCI-E x8) 256MB

1 PCIe 16x for my graficcard.

So I have 1 PCIe 16x left for in the future.

Then I need as many as possible sata 2 ports on a good chipset.

When I looked to the asus site I was pretty sure that the only chipset that can offer me 2 full speed 16x PCIe is the 680i chipset.
