hi all, I recently got a new harddrive WD320gb caviar and I plugged it in and it only recongnized as 128gb.. i did some research and the best way to fix it was to install SP2.
I downloaded SP2 and SP1 off the microsoft site and went on to installing, but I got an error saying my key wasn't genuine..(pirate ftl)
, I'm only down to 20gb left of the 128gb HDD. I want to know if there's a way I can change the CDKEYS through desktop and then install SP2 without any hassels, like if I installed sp2 would it automatically recongnize it as the original size and my files would still be there? like, so like 282GB remaining?
I really don't want to reformat, so could someone help me out here?
Are there any other tweaks or things that I can do to expand my harddrive without losing files or changing cdkeys and downloading update?
