I just got a computer from my cousin's ex sister in law (old pos thing). But the problem is that she forgot the password to the only account on the computer and I need to know how to get around it.
I know of a few programs that I can burn to a cd as a bootable disk, but I don't have a cd burner. Does anybody know of a way to get around this thing with a backdoor password or a 3.5 in floppy?

Either boot into Safe Mode and login as Administrator or download Offline NT Password Editor and create a bootdisk floppy. http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

there should be another admin in safe mode w/ windows that isn't locked. This is the built in admin account. Its kinda infamous for being really easy to get around passwords

That is unless the built in account is disabled :( (which I always do). If the OP doesn't need the info on the HDD he can always format and do a clean installation.
