alot of people have been telling me tht i should swap power suplies and get a more reliable one. The amount i spent on video card and motherboard, i really dont want the psu to fail and take those with it. Im runing the nzxt zero series case that has 8 case fans, and i added a extra 80mm on the bottom. Any suggestions on a better psu that can run all 9 fans. I was going to buy a nzxt precise 550w but others on the forum has suggested to get a better one. I know i could just get a y splitter, but id rather have a psu with them allready on.

In your other topic you said you were thinking about running two 8800 gtx's in SLI... You're in for a bad day if you try this with a 500w psu. I'd go with at least 700-800w even if you want to stick with one 8800, they're not that much more expensive and well worth it; plus its easier to upgrade in the future.

By the way, I was planning on getting that same case for my new rig. How do you like it so far?

the case is one of the best ever, it is sleek and there is plenty of room for everything. the only thing is the usb are on the side, personally i like it that way, but if you want to put it into a tight space you have to take that in mind. there are enough fans to keep just about any rig cool. I am installing another small exhaust fan on the bottom vent.

Definitely NOT a good way to choose a PS.
