What is the difference between the two? I've only had NVidia based boards.....but if I want to expand to other boards, I need to know what I'm getting into if I get an intel based board.

So far, I've had no problems with Nvidia ones.

Thanks :)

Even though I won't be upgrading to Vista on my main machine anytime soon...DRM Junk, other issues..... I've been told NVidia doesn't perform well on it.

from a techs perspective, intel chipset based motherboards are far more common, prove to be more reliabl, the only downfall being any real SLI support etc.

The 965 chipset is both faster and cheaper then nvidia's solution while remaining more efficent (heat wise).

BUT with computers and opinions, if your happy with a product then stick with em (within reason) ;)
