Well let me first start off with computer specs so you can better help me.

Proceser:Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 Allendale 1.8GHz 2M shared L2 Cache 775 (oddly Cpuz shows the cpu as a Conroe)
Mother Board:ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel RAM:G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Memory
Graffics Card:GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express

I guess first question would be why does CPU show it as a conroe?

Also I would love to OC this processer. I would be happy with just around 2.7-3ghz because im using stock cpu fan. From what I understand an I might be wrong this processer should be ok at that speed without changing much. Im supposed to change FSB to 266 if I understand right. But in my BIOS it says its at 800 (QDR). Does that mean 200 * 4= 800?. If so does I put in 266*4=1064? That by itself wont raise the Ghz will it?

Please help I know im a noob but this processer seems made to be OC
