Installed, but having issues on first boot.

I have everything installed atm, but when I try to power up I get a lout Continuous beep, so of course something is wrong. I didn't leave it on, and immediatly shut it down in less than 5 seconds.

8800 GTS 640mb
Corsair HX620W
320gb Sata HD
Sata DVD burner

Im using a Thermalright 120 Extreme with a Sythe 120mm fan, could it be b/c I plugged the Sythe fan which is a 3pin fan into the 4pin CPU fan slot?

Continuous Beep - No Power, Loose Card, or Short.

Right from the list, check for loose or misplaced standoffs. Or try to setup outside the case with just the minimum gear.

I forgot to plug in the PCIE power connector.

Will this hurt the card down the road? I didn't leave it on for more than maybe 5 seconds.

You are fine, that is why computer beep. The thing had no power so nothing to harm the card. Just put it through the stress tests to verify the build
