no Fan Control in Nvidia Contol / ntune Panel ?

Any help or anyone else with the problem of the Fan control being Greyed out in the Ntune control panel.
However the GPU over-clocking is avail and works fine.

Also the monitor show some funky fan RPM speeds and names (shown in monitor seed and name)
System: 31889 RPM 8O
nforce: 675 RPM (not an nforce board)
Aux2: 18 RPM

Also it doesn't even look like the Ntune software even detected the GPU Fan as it listed "0" in the gpu fan drop down box

Here is the 411 on my system - 8800GTS 640mb EVGA, ASUS P5B Deluxe, e6600 @ 3.0ghz, Mushkin 650w PFC ps
Running current Forceware (158.19) & nTune (5.05.38.00)

im afraid thats wrong....lots of people used to have fan control before 158.** drivers and fan control gets greyed out at 158 drivers.


im also getting the funky numbers for nforce and aux...mine are identical

fan control hopefully will be fixed soon

as I was starting to wonder if my card or driver install was bad, becasue doing some searching I have found other EVGA 8800 gts users that have FAN control intact.

I too hope they fix this as my card runs just a touch hot when in full setting on newer games. And would like to max the fan out when playing
