Help! I am wondering what CD drive I need to buy for Windows 7...I have an acer notebook and I have yet to start it up....brand new

I would be more worried about what drive is supported for your notebook not your OS. You can use just about any cd drive for windows 7. Are you talking Internal or external? Keep it safe and buy brand name.
