I have a 5 yr old P4 with 2.53ghz/533 fsb Intel and MSI 845-e Max mobo, plus 5 WD 80 gig HD's, all in a TT Xaser full tower. Time to reinstall and reformat OS, and clean things up. I'd like to dual boot XP onto a different partitioned HD, leaving all else alone for awhile. Then, when sure all is ok. I could delete the existing OS and at my leisure, reinstall the XP onto the original disc also. Is this feasible? Seems too simple, cause then I can always have one HD with a fresh install. Thanks All.
