Is the Vista Firewall better than the Kaspersky Firewall?
I can't find anywhere that says the Vista Firewall needs replaced. So is the Vista Firewall equal or better than any outside source firewall?

dont use windows firewall its junk.i like panda internet security 2007 the best but i had to switch to Kaspersky internet security 2007 because thats the only one that worked for my vista ultimate 64 bit os.

The firewall in XP and Vista is meant to be an added protection for those how have no idea of what a firewall is. It provides very basic protect and is not meant to compete with the commercial offering. I personally find that it does a "good enough" job (and I have a firewall on my router as well) that I no longer use Zone Alarm.

personally i'm not running any firewall (other then Vistas) cause i find any programs that dont slaughter my system performance, as it does with my friends setup.

much worse then Norton ever did on XP. (Worst AV/Firewall in existence.)

any idea on a firewall/av combo that doesn't slaughter vistas performance?
(it isn't my spec, 2gb ram, raid-0 raptors, 8800gtx, e6600 processor)
