More Information

Have several machines wired to netgear router (RP114) and need to connect my laptop to one of these machines via wireless. Tried to hook up Airlink AWLL3026 USB adapter on the wired PC and it appeared to be trying hard to connect to the Laptop with a PCMCIA DLink DWL-G630. Will these two devices talk to each other without a Router being involved??
Tried playing with the config but eventually the PC would not connect to the Wired network unless the USB device was pulled and the PC was re-booted.
Need serious help with the config. numbers.

Thanks in advance, DIK

Thanks for your efforts to even read through my plea for help.

I will check the documentation and see if I can manage it.
Have done quite some reading and still not sure that the wired unit can have the usb wireless device as well.
Thanks again, DIK
