I say combine styles. Go crazy. It's more interesting. I listen to different genres anyway.

What music project?

I'm all for anything but country. I prefer a little industrial, techno, ambient, house, jungle type things....

OMG, I just realized: Country/Techno mix? Nightmarish, if I may say so.

Yeah, I consider myself a music junkie, but what the hell is gabber?!!?!? Is it a breed of insane European techno that makes you want to kill yourself?

It is absolute junk IMO... it is European and it should be very nice music if you only like beats and when your using drugs. Oh, and don't forget that a true Gabberaar (Dutch word) has an Ausie trainingssuite, bomberjack and the same haircut as a skinhead.
Just search a number on KaZaA and you will know how it sounds like. But it isn't an important style anymore for about 6 years now... I mean back in 1996 it was populair in Holland but you almost never hear it now.

OK I know what it is. In the US it is just called Hardcore. Ya, I don't like that stuff at all. 200 bpm, super distorted basslines. Lame. You guys HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS THOUGH, it's hilarious "gabber."

Hehe, gabber certainly don't sound too good, but I must admit I sometimes, if in the right mood, do like songs that are really, really fast paced, like over 200bpm. It's just to get pumped though:)

I can also try to find some Dutch Gabber music if you want.

Aaagghhh. To much going on these days.

Thanks for answering the Gabber question. I was really pulling every style I could think of at 1AM after a couple beers. As you can see, I completely forgot country. Not to say I would want to do it, but I did forget. And since we're pulling out some of the silly stuff, don't forget about Kompressor.

I'd probably go for combining different styles, though I have a feeling the dancier stuff might be more prominent depending on who submits drums/percussion.
