Quick question regarding frame capture. I am attempting to capture a short (5 - 10 minute) video segment from a computer game to use as a demo. I am trying to find a software tool that will run in the background under Windows 98, and simply capture every frame that hits the screen and store it in an .AVI or .MPG file. Accompanying sound capture would be great, but is not necessary. Can anyone recommend a simple (and relatively cheap) frame capture software?
let it out to the tv out connector and record on the tape...
That's not a bad idea, but sadly I don't own a VCR. I suppose I could get a VCR for about $100, but I'm cheap, and don't desire to spend the money. In addition, it seems that recording on analog tape would hose the capture quality, and I was really looking for a clean video.
