so disapointed game crashes when load level is complete. running 2 gigs of ram platinum series, E6600 clocked at 3.5 very stable temps below 40 Celcius on load time and a x1900xtx. bf2 and bf2142. stuck with double boot, hard drive for games on xp and vista for applications. almost regret going legit and buying licences...printer HP 1020 and tv tuner have no drivers. Wow an operating system. Oh and of course, Micro$oft and EA are blaiming each other!

First question, are you running the game as an administrator? Punkbuster can't do certain things unless you do the right-click run as administrator thing, causing a kickout after the level is loaded. Then again, could be misreading your post.

Battlefield 2142 won't even load to the EA logo with the battlewalker walking for me anymore. Don't know why.

Now who am I supposed to believe...? :? :P I don't quite have vista yet-the free coupon version has been shipped so I will get it soon. I am hoping it will work.

I'm running an E4300 with a Radeon X1300 and Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 both run great. Albiet, with the lowest setting, and as long as my ping stays beneath 100ms.

BF2 and 2142 run on my Vista64 Premium just fine.
