Fax via internet

Paypal would like me to fax supporting documents for my account verification requirements. Since I'm outside the US I will have to incur international long distance calls to fax my documents. Is is possible for me to fax thru the internet? Actually I could send the scanned image via email but Paypal wanted the documents faxed.

I found one http://www.efax.com . It has trial version. Alternatively, I bought a fax modem device.
