How do I move the target for the My Documents folder to a second HDD partition? I cannot figure it out with Vista.

I just tested it. Your second HDD should have its own drive label. Partitions will also have their own drive label.. but you know what you want and you'll be able to figure it out.

The only problem I see is if you don't have a second HDD in.. or its a partition.

Related to this, I changed the target for the Videos folder to a separate HDD. That HDD died shortly after due to unrelated reasons. Now, I cannot change the location back to the primary HDD, as it complains about the target being missing (seeing as the secondary HDD is no longer there) as soon as I go into the option and will not let me proceed further. Does anyone know where this is stored in registry?

Not sure and a quick Google didn't show any advice on it.

Export your registry and do a search on it for "Video" and see which results you can find. It should be on a per account location so HKCU (current user) is probably where you want to search.
