Ok, this is embarrassing for me to say but...
.. I am a first time builder and before I assemble all my components I was just wondering If I have to install my graphics card before I power up for the first time or do I install it after I install Windows. I apologize for the question.

If your wondering what I am going to use;
-Intel Core 2 Duo e6300
-Gigabyte DS3
-ATI X1650pro (pci x16)

Unless your motherboard provides on-board graphics, you will have to install you graphics card before power up.

If you install the graphics card before powerup, you will probably run in a standard VGA mode until the specific drivers are loaded for the graphics card, so don't worry about a 600x480 resolution.
