The onboard video on my mobo is the Radeon X1250. It has a 128bit memory interface and the 7300LE has 128MB onboard ram and shares another 128m from the system ram, a 64bit interface with 5.2Gbs bandwidth and 1.8 billion pixels per second fill rate. I can't find the bandwidth numbers for the Radeon X1250. I imagine the 64bit interface for the 7300LE hurts it pretty bad in that area.
The reason I'm asking is I have a 7300LE sitting here that I'll use if it will perform better than the Radeon X1250, which I have using 256MB of system memory btw. Thanks for your help.

If you've already got the card sitting there, why not just install it and compare the performance of the card against the performance of the integrated? Also the performance of the X1250 depends on the speed of the system RAM since it uses some of that as video RAM. I definitely wouldn't buy a 7300LE to upgrade the motherboard but've already got it so why not try it?
