Thanks for info so far, but really after an inside info: surely there must
be some thought around a Blackberry PPC client which doesn't require a ROM
upgrade (as T Mobile in Germany or O2)?
Our Global IT solution is Blackberry. However there is
a strong base of PPCs, which are seeking a means to provide remote email.
But is unlikely that we can get Intellisync (or similar) sanctioned as an
alternative remote email solution.
Are there any limitations/frustrations of the Blackberry synching solution?
May be bad examples but, does it synch recurring Outlook appointments? Does
it synch all Contact fields? Does it recognise categories? Can it synch
Outlook Public Folders? etc

Oz,
With the introduction of WM5, many of the push abilities that Blackberry has
enjoyed will be available in the Pocket PC world.
As for the devices themselves, yes they do have limitations on what can and
can't be sync'd. In my limited (key word) use of Blackberry devices, it did
have a difficult time with appointments and contacts. However, I'm not an
"expert" by any stretch and it could clearly have been cockpit.dll issues
(in other words, me!)
