which system is best?

Well im building a new gaming system and was wondering which would be the best setup for that purpose? i plan on overclocking to around 3ghz (is this safe on stock hsf and at decent temps for the e4300?) so heres a list of possible specs:

Option 1:
C2D e6420
Radeon x1950 pro
2gb G.skill ddr2-800
Gigabyte ds3 mobo (rev 3.3)
Raidmax Ninja case
520w Raidmax psu

Option 2:
C2D 4300
Geforce 8800gts
Rest same as above


Which would be a better system in the long run and have higher fps? also this will be my 1st homebuilt system so please note any better/cheaper options. Thnx

Option 2 is better - GPU matters more than CPU for gaming.

And please get a better power supply.
