I've checked on Newegg that E6300 is about $180, while the E4300 is about $120, which is quite less for only 6 mhz slower. Is there some other major difference that I'm missing? The only other difference I could spot was the 200 vs 266 fsb speed. But no way is 60 bucks worth that measly kind of increase. Is E6300 no longer the reigning champ in value? Do E4300 and E4400's pwn now?

All the chips in the E6X00 series are made with 4mb of L2 cache, however the E6400 and E6300 have half of it disabled.

The E4X00 series are made with only 2mb of L2 cache therefore are cheaper to make.

Also note that the E4X00 series have higher multipliers/lower FSB's so they are better for overclocking easily and can be run with cheaper RAM. So yes, they do "pwn" now.

Yeah I heard that was gonna happen to. I'd have a guess and say that because of the lower FSB, less of the E4300's get binned. It also could just be a marketing thing (they make more money from Joe Blow by selling him an E6300 for inflated price rather than a cheaper E4300 which both perform the same).

But I also heard that a new E6300 revision came out in which now only has 2mb cache, instead of 4mb and 2mb disabled.

E4x00 series (eg E4300) has a 800mhz FSB and 2mb cache
E6x00 series (eg E6300) has 1066mhz FSB and 2mb (under 2.4ghz) OR 4mb cache (2.4ghz and over)
E6x2x series (eg E6320) has 1066mhz FSB and 4mb cache

E4300 - 1.8ghz/2mb/800mhz
E6300 - 1.86ghz/2mb/1066mhz
E6320 - 1.86ghz/4mb/1066mhz (NEW!)

E6400 - 2.13ghz/2mb/1066mhz
E6420 - 2.13ghz/4mb/1066mhz (NEW!)

E6600 - 2.4ghz/4mb/1066mhz
E6700 - 2.67ghz/4mb/1066mhz
X6800 - 2.93ghz/4mb/1066mhz

etc

Get your facts right

its hard to say wether they are "cheaper" to make, depends on if they make the 4mb models and "disable" half of the cache, or wether there made in a different 2mb batch etc - if they disable half the cache then the X6800 will cost as much as the E4300 to produce if you think about it.
