I just installed Vista on a second partition on my hard drive. It a dual boot XP Home/Vista Home Premium. I'd like to make XP Home my default OS for now. Is there any way I can change this? It get kind of annoying when I turn on the computer and go do something else while I wait for it to boot then come back and have Vista loaded when I need to use XP most of the time. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

I have exactly the same setting as you: XP home 32-bit and Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

As far as I know, there is no way to change this. All you should do is wait the 15-20 seconds it takes to get to this screen and choose XP before going somewhere elses.

I'll come check again see if somebody has a clue. Also, maybe, is there a way to reinstall XP (in case of problem) without changing the boot sector and remove Vista option at boot? I'd like to know in case of problem in the future.

Thanks.

I found a way to fix this. I also posted on the extreme overclocking forums and someone found a solution. The program is called VistaBootPro and I can say it worked fantastic. It did exactly what I needed.
