Hello, I currently have a Intel Core Duo E6600 with 4GB of ram, i mainly use the pc to play online games such as Counterstrike:Source. I am currently on a 32-bit Vista, as you all know this limits my RAM usage. I was wondering if i should upgrade to 64-bit. I am unaware of the status with sound drivers, gfx drivers ect with the 64-bit vista. Would i have many problems in ugrading?

As you say, the only way you will get access to the rest of your memory is to go 64-bit. If you go XP, you probably never will get drivers for any of your components. It is a dead OS and I suspect most manufacturers will not be putting too many development dollars into it.

I knew where I was going when I put my system together last November so I went with the big guys (Intel, ATI...) and when Vista 64 was released I had all of the drivers available. You just need to look around to see if the stuff is available.

Good luck.
