So i'm planing to buy a new pc so here are the components:

mobo-asus p5n-e sli
cpu-intel core2duo e4300 or e6600
ram-a-data 1gb 6400
vga-asus 8800gts 320mb or 640mb

So my question is what will be better for me e6600 with 8800gts 320mb
or the e4300 with 8800gts 640mb, and this system is for high-res gaming.

Thanks for any advice!

Can I answer none of the above? Either CPU will be great in any game you play, and either 8800 will power everything including a 22" monitor. Your bottleneck will happen because you only have 1 gb of RAM.
Were you open to overclocking? O/C'ed e4300 can run faster than a stock e6600. Still either will run all your games stock. To throw one more small item into the mix, if you do not want to overclock, you can save money running a AMD rig.
