PoP Ups help me!

I am getting pop ups, i use firefox, its my default, and ill just have google opend, then boom, MS Internet Explore pops up taking me to some bs website, I checked all of the processes in my task manager, if i did not know what one was, i searched for it on google, and found it to be something i know of and is safe, so im assuming something in my processes is infected? please help, its really annoying! and i do spyware scans, if i find anything its only 1 or 2 things then when i delete them, i still get pop ups. any idea? THANKS

If you haven't done so, download, install, and run AdAware and SpyBot Search and Destroy, both free and run them in Safe Mode logging in as Administrator. Also run a virus scan. Really sounds like malware
