I just build a new PC with:
EVGA 680i
2x 8800 GTS 320 mb
core 2 duo e4300
2 gb OCZ Gold
2x 160 GB Western Digital hard drives

I just installed MCE 2005 and the first thing I noticed when trying to install my wireless G with SRX pci card, it said that ikernel could not be found. It is part of Installshield, and I tried everything I could think of to make it work, but it just wont.

Next, I tried hooking up my pc through ethernet, but I cant make windows recognize the eathernet port even though I installed the motherboard drivrs.

Last, something wierd I noticed was that in the user accounts page and in various other pages several of the icons had the red x in them meaning they cannot be displayed

EDIT:

Well a good reinstall of xp fixed all of those problems nicely
