Hi all,

I just downloaded an update for XP and recieved an error upon restarting my computer. My games have slowed tremondously---basically unplayable and i'm not sure how to resolve this issue.

"The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred b/c the DLL C:\Windows\system32\HHCTRL.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLL's. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted"

I'm running a 6300 o/c to 2.8ghz, 7600gt, ST Ram 800mhz, DS3 rev 2.2 board.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey guys. Sorry for the kneejerk post but i luckily stumbled upon the fix. MS has released an update to deal with the problem below. There is a conflict with the Realtek audio that needed to be resolved. Hopefully this helps anyone else with this problem.

Just go to MS website and look up updates for XP. Arrange by latest date and you will see todays update as well as the download to fix the problem from the update.
