I had Win XP, and I used to disconnect the sata internal hdds like they were pen drives.

Now I have Vista Ultimate and I can't do it... :? but if I put a pen drive, it works great, I can disconnect it and connect it.

Any ideias...

I have the latest nVidia drivers, 15.00, if I'm not mistaken...

Go into 'programs and features' in control panel, select 'turn windows features on or off' and then look for 'removable storage management'. That may be what you are looking for.

no luck so far... It doesn't even accept connecting the hard drive while the pc is running...

Do you mean it doesn't recognize the drive or it actually errors on recognizing it?
