I have a Simmens SX66 on the Cingular network. I have yet to get it
activated with Cingular. I configured WiFI at home for my DI 624 Wireless
access point router. However, I cant get access to squat! No email, no
web...nada. Everything else works, my WiFi laptop, and the desktop comp. Any
suggestions or help would be greatley appreciated. This is my last resort as
I feel I have tried everything.

Thanks in advance!

May it be that when asked if the network connects you to Internet or Work
you have answered work?

Well...I 1st tryed Internet originally but with no luck, I used "work" and
everything in between.

There is one thing maybe you should know. My router might be set up wierd
maybe. It works fine on the desktop computer but anytime I want to access it
on my laptop I have to go to the IP address of the router and reboot it.
Even if it just goes into hibernation. Thing is, it does detect and connect
to the wireless point when I turn on the laptop. Get a good signal and
everything. Just cant do anything or go anywhere until I reset the router.

SO, with that said, I did try that technique with my PCC. I am able to get
to the 192.168.0.1 of the router on my PCC witch tells me that the wireless
IS infact working but somethings not configured right. I have tryed
everything and feel Im missing something.

In short, I need help!

When I first connected to my wireless router, it would never establish a
connection, I don't know if it's related in any way, but what I did was
go into the connection settings and re-write the password, and from then
on it worked. (For some reason when you put the password in at the
connection prompt, it doesn't save properly. Doing it from the settings
does.)

Also, make sure you configured your router for "mixed mode" rather than just
"G mode" (meaning, set up for 802.11b rather than just 802.11g).
