hi may be this will help you choose. these are all good av softwares, prices may differ where you are as these prices are from India, where i am.
this just a comparison and i would recommend trying free trial versons of all reputed AV programmes including the free ones and check which one suits you coz they all have good features and it only depends on what you like to use.
and make sure you dont rung more than one at a time so uninstall previous one before installing new programme.

I'm running W7pro64

My wife's online banking service gives a free 3 machine licence for Kaspersky Internet Security. Since using that my boot times have decreased by about 50% and all apps seem to start more quickly as well as pages loading faster in the browser than before we used KIS2011.

My brother works in the IT part of the same bank and all their machines use KIS too.

Tom's did a head to head of AV suites and KIS came out quite well.

my bank gave me it as well

it kept locking my cpu at 100% so it went out the window

I have tried just about all the best-rated AVs, and I'm currently using ESET Nod32 5.0, which is a prerelease Beta, cloud-based trial version. It is very good, and the final release should be available for purchase within two months. Test results for ESET Nod32 4.0:

I am looking forward to the final, stable release of Version 5.0. It will be the first cloud-based AV for ESET, and it already has proved very effective on my computer, especially the email protection it provides. As with Panda Cloud, which I had installed previously and is also very good, ESET Nod32 5.0, works very well alongside Microsoft Security Essentials. There are no conflicts whatsoever. Now, Microsoft is not going to tell you that because they do not want to advertise for any other company. I just know that from my own experience.
