I’m looking to make a few upgrades and am looking at the new Gigabyte 650i SLI mobo. As you can see from the pictures, the NB heatsink is fairly large and I was wondering if anyone with experience with either the mobo or the Enzotech Ultra-X could tell me if the NB heatsink will get in the way with this cooler?

Thanks,

JD

jedolley, I just recently got this board but am using the http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/ [...] f1000.html as a cooler and although the fit was close it's not touching. I also went with 4 gigs of ram feeling up each of the slots, if I want to remove the ram from slots closest to the CPU I will have to remove the cooler. Looking at the pics of the cooler your inquiring about it looks like it should fit. I guess compare photos of the scythe and your cooler from the hs to the actual start of the fins. You may be able to get a rough guesstimate. Good luck!
BTW love the board, it is running great.
