I'm looking to possibly build a LAN box, and I'd like to hear some opinions on what Micro ATX boards are you'd recommend. I normally build with Gigabyte motherboards but I have never built a micro system (is there a quality difference with smaller boards?).

I'm specifically looking at AM2 socket boards. I most likely won't consider anything else, but all opinions are welcome.

Thanks in advance,
ALANMAN

EDIT: I should have stated this also, I don't plan on overclocking at all.

This thread has some good suggestions.

Well perhaps I spoke too soon. The thread is sort of muddled.

The two I would say are worth looking at from that thread are the Abit NF-M2 nView and the Biostar TA690G. I would lean toward the TA690G at this point but if you can wait a few days Anandtech is supposedly going to be publishing an in-depth mATX roundup any day now.

Hope this helps.
