I'm trying to get feedback on a low cost dual core box for use with ubuntu. Don't know if this MB/HW is 2.6 compatible, but I'd like to play around with ubuntu on a dedicated box. Any feedback on the system? Has anyone used Linux with this MB? How about the USB card reader?

The MB/HD/CPU have a -$15 combo, can't add combo's to wish lists though...

That'll be fine for Ubuntu. A friend of mine is running a similar config with an x2 4400 and loving it. Only thing I don't know about is the card reader....the rest will make for a nice little ubuntu box...

The NVIDIA chipset will work just fine for you. USB card readers are all USB Mass Storage Devices and will be recognized. If you roll your own kernels, realize that most of them will have at least two device nodes/SCSI LUNs so tick the "Probe Multiple LUNs" box or else you'll find that only one slot in the reader will work.
