First of all, we answer the posts when we see them... obviously, if someone hasn't replied because your post wasn't read or because the people that have read it didn't have a solution for you. If you can't find it, what makes you think that someone else can?

Secondly, install Windows Live Messenger and get rid of 7.5. Also, make sure that Windows Messenger 4.7 is gone. If it isn't, there is an article on Tacktech on how to remove it.

Could be an issue between Live Messenger and 7.5... what version are all of your contacts using? There was a problem with adding new contacts a while back when MS's servers screwed up... so that might be an issue too... that one you'll have to look up because I don't remember where to find it. It does involve editing the registry... but I believe this only applied to Live Messenger and not 7.5... but I could be mistaken.
