More Information

I've nearly given up on this one, but any help is much apreciated.

(Cable modem)----e-----(PC1)------e----(Netgear dg834g)----w-----(PC2)

- PC1 has dual ethernet
- Netgear wireless router has inbuilt ADSL modem (not used)
- Netgear wireless router does not have an uplink or WAN port (DHCP is off)

Ive set up PC1 to share the internet connection. Both PC's connect to the router no problem (manual IPs) and can share files, see eachother etc, but PC2 can not connect to the internet.

It was suggested that I set up a static IP for the router to address the internet through PC1. It was suggested that a static route to address 0.0.0.0 through PC1 (192.168.0.1) could help, but the router will not accept 0.0.0.0 (even with the latest firmware).

I'm guessing the answer lies in a static route or some kind of port forwarding, but I'm having no luck at all.

Like I said, any help is much apreciated.
